General rules - Breaking these rules can and will get you banned!

Do not defy moderators expressed wishes! If you have a problem with a moderators decision take it up with an Admin and they will make the final ruling.
Invite trading is NOT allowed. Advertising invites to TheDVDClub on public forums is not allowed and will result in your invite privileges being revoked. We here at TheDVDClub believe invites should be given freely, to users who you trust. Remember, there actions will reflect on you, so think twice before inviting any random person.
Trading accounts is forbidden! Anyone caught trading their account will have there account banned and will never be allowed to use the tracker again. This is for the trader and the tradee.
Do not upload our .torrent files to other sites! (See the FAQ for details.)
Disruptive behavior in the forums, torrent comments or IRC will not be tolerated and result in a warning. Please think before you do.
Do NOT try to cheat the system. We will know and there are no second chances!!
Common courtesy is a must. Insulting behavior towards TheDVDClub’s Staff, Uploaders, or VIPS will not be tolerated. These people are very important to this community and the running of it.
This is a sharing community, you are expected to at least meet the minimum requirements. (See the FAQ for details.)
Do NOT pm users asking them for invites to other sites

Do NOT Hit N Run!! You MUST seed each torrent to at least a 0.7 ratio. However if after 72 hours of continuous seeding with 0 leechers on that torrent, then and only then may you stop your torrent below the minimum ratio. If you do not follow to these rules you will be warned regardless of your class.
Everyone should aim for a 1.0 torrent ratio. We realize this may not always be possible, this is why we have the H&R rule. Due to the great amount of free torrents on the site staff will always look at your individual torrent ratio first and foremost. Your global ratio comes second. If you have an excessively low global ratio your account may be disabled.
Only 5 unique IP's are allowed on one torrent under one user account. Any more will result in an automatic ban, so think twice before posting .torrents elsewhere

Invites are issued based on your user class. The tracker will automatically add invites to your account as you move up the ranks. Please see http://thedvdclub.org/classes.php for details.
Additional invites can be issued at any staff members’ discretion. If you have invited several bad users it is likely you will not receive anymore invites, and you may loose any existing invites you may have. So be careful who you give your invites to!

ONLY upload DVDRs, DVD related apps and DVD covers.
We do allow all user classes to upload. If you do upload a movie please make sure you can spare the bandwidth it takes to get the movie well seeded before you upload it.
Please use scene like titles, Ex. .....DVDR
First look if the movie is not already released on the site.
If the release is uploaded in PAL format you may upload the NTSC format version and visa versa.
If the DVD5 version of the movie is on the site you may upload the DVD9 version and visa versa.
If it is a scene release and has been [ NUKED ] please upload the .PROPER. version.
If the movie has been uploaded in the Full Screen format, you may upload the Wide Screen format and visa versa.
All uploads must include the proper information of that release.
Choose the right category for your release.
Make sure not to include any serial numbers, CD keys or similar in the description.
Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 48 hours and the torrent as at least 5 other seeds.
Conversions are NOT allowed (Ex: xvid/TV/etc. re-encodes to DVDR)

No aggressive behavior or flaming in the forums. Your post will be deleted and you will be warned.
No trashing of other peoples topics (i.e. SPAM). Your post will be deleted and you may be warned depending on severity of the spam.
No language other than English in the forums.
No systematic foul language (and none at all on titles). We are pretty much all open minded, but please have respect for people’s wishes.
No links to warez or crack sites in the forums. Your post will be deleted and you will be warned.
No requesting of serials, CD keys, passwords or cracks in the forums. Your post will be deleted and you will be warned.
No bumping. Your post will be deleted and you will be warned.
No images larger than 800x600, and preferably web-optimized.
No double posting. If you wish to post again, and yours is the last post in the thread please use the EDIT function, instead of posting a double.
Please ensure all questions are posted in the correct section!
If you have been warned / banned, do NOT ask about it in the forums. You can discuss it with a staff member in IRC or through PM. Discussing it in the forums is a sure way not to get it removed.

The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB. (Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good; larger images will just waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.) For now this is just a guideline but it will be automatically enforced in the near future.
Do not use potentially offensive material such as porn, anti-religious, involving animal cruelty or ideologically charged images. Mods have wide discretion on what is acceptable. If in doubt about your avatar please PM a moderator and ask.

Torrents that have 0 seeders, but still have leechers are automatically deleted in 48 hours.
Torrent that have 0 seeders and 0 leechers are automatically deleted in 24 hours.
User account which are not activated in 24H are deleted
User account which are inactive and do not have any history (upload/download/posts/etc) are deleted after 14 days.
